Spring Inspiration
Arrival of spring is amazing, year after year. Sun is shining, birds are singing, and first flower buds are about to burst. Nature is inspiring and forceful; daylilies are appearing through the soil, even when it feels way too cold anything to grow. It's time to take a serious look around the garden.
NATUREGARDEN

March 2024:
Yes, for people who enjoy gardening, spring is a busy season. Actually, the preparation begins already in the winter... especially, if there is something new to construct or landscape. Plans have to be prepared, possible permits applied, and contractors tracked down.
I try to source and buy whatever I need in the next summer season, early. Often I have left empty handed from a garden center just because I waited for too long, thinking, that I have time to do it later. I usually don't... everything will be sold and gone!
It's easy to go overboard with exciting new plants. I remember one particular property where I needed to "un-jungle" the garden because the previous owner had gone wild with various shrubs and flowers. It was a tedious job and I tried to donate as many plants as possible.
Many plants can be divided, like daylilies and hostas. It only requires some good old elbow grease and determination. When planting, make sure to check how much sun and water is needed for a good growth.
Have a fantastic, inspiring spring!
